Small bit here.

Just some bits and pieces I threw together, and an ant nest hole from Khurasan Miniatures. (Ants to follow)

Excellent stuff!  A bit more vivid than the washed out game itself.

True. I actively made the decision to add more red and orange to the color scheme compared to the game, as the color scheme was just a bit too gray for me. I felt that there should be more red, due to clays and such, so I went with raw sienna for my base color, and everything is either complimetary to that or based off of it.

And we have terrain! The only thing I have left to do for terrain is to finish the river bottom on the third board and pour the resin - but that has to wait for payday.

Some new finished terrain pieces follow...

And old barn...

And a small house.

A small storefront - was a Plasticville 5 and 10.

An old car - was shiny black when new...now, not so much.

And another barn. The two barn pieces were just one barn that when I received it, I found that there was a large crack in the side of one the pieces, and rather than get grumpy at the fact that it was not supposed to be broken, I made use of it - and got two buildings instead of one. Old sprue works really well for beams.

And the local car repair place. I deliberately left off all of the gas pump pieces, as all vehicles in the Fallout universe are atomic powered, which leads to fun when you shoot one by accident or hide behind it. They explode. I'll have to someone make wrecks out of some of the cars I have to show what happens when you shoot them, and work that into the rules.

And the set-up as I intend to have it for play. I played with the layout for a while before I was satisfied, and I actually have more pieces than spaces on the board, which is good for long term play with these boards. Now, I need to concentrate on models proper. The images are small because I have am using the LAF galleries, and they are limited in how big a picture can be. I may go back to my Flicker account for a couple of pictures, just to give you guys a better view.

I think if you can't get excited to play on this board, you can't get excited, and should be hanging out with Bartleby.

That would be the river at the back, which I am waiting for the money to finish, by pouring the resin to be the water. Of course, I still have not found a good model to use for a mirelurk. One of the few I have not figured out how to do.

You could use the Scarab Golem from Crocodile Games, replace the hands with Scorpion claws:

Not the cheapest solution, but the best one I have found for Mirelurks.

Oh, nice...that must be a relatively new model. I love it! Only need a couple anyway...

Truly great looking stuff, Sinewgrab.  Look forward to a year when you can show off your fine work at the Enfilade game convention.  You might have even have a shot at best of show depending on what you bring.

Just happened upon this a few minutes ago and said, "Mirelurk!"

Unless my search-fu is weak I don't think it's been mentioned, so here you go:

They're from Khurasan Miniatures and, I'm really not sure the scale. Great possibility it's 15mm. At any rate, it's a "Sponk".
