Very nice. Can't wait to see pics of the test-game.

I ordered the "Family" from Foundry myself recently. They fit perfectly in a post-apoc setting.

Good conversion on the supermutant. Is he standing on a 40mm base?

Where's that Raider next to the flamethrower guy from?

Well, no pics of the test game. I set the camera out, got down to it, and after answering questions, and directing traffic , and explaining rules, we finished...and I realized I had never actually picked up the camera. DOH!

No, he is just on a 1" circle base I cast myself.

And that raider is an ancient GW model from their pirates range of Rogue Trader miniatures.

And we are using a modified version of the Necromunda rules by Games Workshop from 1995.

Very good choice and I'd love to see the mods you make. I love that system and it looks like fallout is something I *should* get into.  :)

He and the tall gentleman in the hockey mask with a chainsaw are from a Foundry pack called the Family, I believe.

When I am done editing it, I'll toss a copy over to you. Right now, it suffers from my changing stuff in one place, and not changing references to it elsewhere.

For your buildings, might I suggest an assortment of different store name signs that could then be applied with a bit of blue tac. Would allow for an endless variety of names for the purpose of mix and matching for the players to search for etc.? And the tought to find store , by its sign, would be the sign thats lieing face down on the ground in front of the store  lol

Great looking project.  The painting is very evocative of the setting.

Signs for buildings could also be done with flashing and magnets.

Huh. I had not thought of that...that is definitely something to consider - and the magnetic suggestion is good as well.

And we had the first big game! Woot!

I had two old hand gamers, neither of which knew the Necromunda system, and 2 'virgins', both of which knew the Fallout universe at least slightly. Worked out okay, though. We had a few off-the-cuff rulings that were based on the game, like regaining wounds by eating a dead radscorpion, and they kept carting off the Nuka-Cola machines so they could regain wounds from the sodas inside.

The warbands that were chosen were the Super Mutants, the Townsfolk, Talon Company, and a crew of Ghoul Mercenaries. Each had their own mission. A wandering merchant had been attacked bu Mutants when he was escorting some new settlers to the town. The mutants killed most of the men and the merchant's brahmin, tied up the survivors, and lit out after the merchant. The townsfolk are there to rescue the settlers, Talon Company wanted the Fat Man mini-nuke launcher that the merchant had stolen from them, the Ghouls were just passing through, and the Muties were coming back for the people to use for food and to change into new Super Mutants.

The table looked like this.

There were three of these scattered about the board, which could be used to regain wounds.
