WIP Mech Initial build Update 23/03/2010
« on: February 28, 2010, 07:09:32 PM »
Something new that I am getting around to.

The boiler/ main body is made up of a capsule toy pack with resin parts from Ramshackle, a bit of plasticard and some Gold plated jewelery findings added.

I'm going to bulk out the track unit and add a steam stack, I was worried where I was going to place the stack but like a steam locomotive it will go at the front. Some kind of viewing port will be modelled onto the side or a viewing periscope will be added.

My initial thoughts on a paint scheme are green and brass ala British steam trains. This could change.

Thanks for the comments!

Its pretty slow going on this project. I have changed from having a steam engine to making it electrical, with dohickys and whatsits on it. I'll post more pics soon.

Undercoated, doesn't look like much and is a tad scrappy. Hopefully  a lick of paint will improve things.
