LotOW - Lawmen (new pictures added)
« on: 15 March 2010, 09:52:07 PM »
A couple of evening's work and Virgil Cole's Lawmen are ready to go outlaw huntin'.... although I've already earned the $$$ to hire another fighter so still don't have a fully painted posse yet...  ;D

I am shamelessly using names from the film Appaloosa... So my Sherif is Virgil Cole, backed up by Everett Hitch.

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Thanks chaps  :)

I trust Mr Hitch is toting an 8 gauge scattergun? :)

He has a shotgun (back row with the top hat) but in the game there are only rules for a 12 gauge. I thought about investing in a Buffalo Gun but that has a huge range which doesn't seem to fit the 8 gauge style...

So will they be getting into toruble regarding a Ms French?  ;)

At some point I will be adding a soiled dove to the posse...  :D

Beautiful. I don't really know what else to say! The colours are rich and full of life and depth, and the shading and highlighting is beautifully smooth. A nice naturalistic palette that doesn't look flat, and nicely detailed bases that don't draw any attention away from the wonderful painting. OK, so there was more to say....

How are you enjoying the game, by the way? My own town and posses are slowly coming together, and I'm looking forward to introducing the game to the local gamers, so I'd love to hear what you think of it!
