2 double use M113's

Nr. 1:

For use with my engineers, hauling demolition gear:

And towing the 120mm:

Nr. 2:

Without a tow it functions as the ride for my recce platoon, with a tow it is used for my 120mm mortar

JB Models (now Airfix) M113's, S&S Mortar and stowage packs, decals by TL Decals, tufts etc by Mininatur and Woodland Scenics. And I can't remember who's .50's I have used, sorry

Johan, I notice that the tactical markings on your vehicles are all on the right hand side. Is this correct for Duutch army? German vehicles bear them on the left hand side...

When looking at the vehicle, as seen by the person viewing it, it should be on the left side (aka the vehicles right side), but.... I've seen that on about 75% of the vehicles, the others being more varied. I try to stick to the marking on the vehicles right, unless the picture I'm copying shows otherwise.

Do you have any Russians to oppose your troops?

Next up, artillery spotter using battlefield radar:

Can be mounted on a YP-408, YPR-765, not sure about a M113.

And the add on base for my mechanised artillery, smoke and HE on hand:

@Moody, yes, but unpainted. But I will be facing tons from others in a few weeks time I'm afraid.

Yes, I have always felt different, now I know why!  lol
Honestly tough, I sometimes get a feeling that our military is somewhat of the odball out in respect to other western countries.

A big heap, all at once. Had to fight a varnish disaster all the way  :banghead:

Another supply trailer:

A M577 command track for the 11th Mobile Artillery " Gele Rijders" - The commander of the track is showing off their special cap, unique in the Dutch Armed Forces. A mobile relais and command center, the track is central in communication between the OP's and the various artillery batteries under it's control.

The men of observationpost T-2 have made themselves right at home:

Starlight scope, binos, radio and field observation radar, everything a good FAO crew needs. Well, maybe a stove.

120mm Alpha battery under tow:

Engineers track:

This really is a very well done project. The vehicles are fantastic. How many Dutchmen do you plan on painting?

I must say, however, that I'm not much of a fan of the Liberation infantry figures themselves. The sculpts look fairly sub par from where I'm sitting.
I told you so. You damned fools.

I'm afraid I can't give you figures on the figures yet....i know my opponents lurk here as well. After the game I will do a show and tell, and from the looks of it, keep upgrading this army.

I agree with your take on the figures, but 2 years ago there was not much of a choice. Only recently has this been improved by Elhiem and his fantastic sculpts. I'll be painting quite a few Platoon 20's as well, don't worry.
