Thanks all very much for the positive comments, high praise indeed if Mrs Dewbakuk has approved too  ;). I've got more bits painted up, just need to get it all together for a pic.

So what? You made a couple of giant Vallejo paint pots and a ruler then photographed them in your street? I suppose that's quite clever but is it wargaming?

lol I should have posted the pic with the giant hand too.

Roads and pavements are very nice as well. Where did you get the roads?

The roads are embossed wallpaper (from Homebase) mounted on strips cut from cork tiles. Not exactly durable but with a bit of care they should see me through a good few games. They literally take minutes to knock together.  The cork has the potential to warp so if you give it a go keep the lengths fairly short and it'll be fine.

I really need to get to work. Between you and PM there's like a carpet of un-retrieved gauntlets on my floor.

Dont rush, you make my work look bad  ;)

Add a giant hedgehog and go for the full Monty Python nod, I say.

Bloody marvellous. I can just see Martian tripods plodding along the pavement and pulverising pastry purveyors in a painful phashion.

Excellent stuff old chap!!!! :-*

They look awesome when they are set-up together.

I've had a little set-back with "warping MDF" when i was doing my baseboard. I may have to blag your idea and do smaller sections....

Wow, this really is wonderful stuff. I ddn't check the thread for a couple of days and you've gone from a pair of houses to a whole new suburb! That's even faster than the Victorians built them!

Marvellous work!  :-* I must get started on buildings for my Holmes project, soonish. Thank goodness we non-modellers can fall back on the Outpost buildings!

I'm at the halfway mark with one half of the terrace pretty much finished. Just the road sign to add. I'll start work on the next half tomorrow.

Effing brilliant mate.

The first thing I will say the pics are a bit rushed as The Sticky Fingered One was about to get home from nursery. Apologies.

Ah, yes, kids... How dear they are to us right? Young Fivers, son of Hammers, aged 2,5 years, is taking an increasing interest in The Hobby and now has a few items on the shelf. Two horse, one purple and one Preussian blue, and a Vendel mastiff, also blue. He often comes scrambling when I sit down for a session but I have implemented a somewhat more restrictive participation policy since the Incident with the Blue Thumbprints on a batch of Pathans which were supposed to wear shiny whites.
