That sure was fun too...dang, we should do it again sometime! Maybe some kind of semi-regular gentleman's challenge now and then?

A semi-regular challenge would be good. Sort of like the Prof's painting one going on. It will be all about getting stuff built and not who's is best.

I would definately be interested.  The Tramp Steamer contest got me making something I had been thinking (and doing nothing) about for some time.

I did make a similar suggestion on another thread recently:

That's an interesting suggestion, but I was thinking maybe of something smaller challenge wise!

Maybe a singular themed piece of terrain or building...rather than an entire mad scientist's lair! I guess I should have a look at the competitions already running on the boards...

For all you budding ship builders this ship may be worth a visit:

They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

Don't know if anyone has seen that the "Adventures of Tintin at Sea" book (was mentioned by Plynkes on page 3 of this thread) appears to have been remaindered - it is on sale in the Book Clearance Centre in Bury for £3.99
