Got some spare time over the past couple of days as my wife had to work and typically there was naff all on the telly

The railway is progressing at a suitable pace although I wish it would stop raining so I can go out and spray

Anyway, got more on the actual railway (Great Martian Plains Railway - GMPR) to show and a little signal box that I've been making. Taking inspiration from AndyM I'm going to do the interior of the signal box and have a tall cabinet, pot bellied stove, a table with chair and the control sticks that you see in signal boxes. Hopefully I'll do an interior of the station itself

The blue foam bit will be surrounded by cork and have steps leading up to the station at the top (the steps are probably going to be lasercut to save time and swearing).

I'm thinking that the signal box will be on it's own modular viaduct section with a ladder leading to the ground but I'm undecided as of yet

I spent rather a long time the other night looking at google images of Victorian model railway layouts for inspiration and there was plenty to be had
