Might be a dumb question but what explain the difference in the depths of the colors of these two entries? Are the colors that much brighter on entry 1 in real life or is it just a question of how the pictures were taken and so on? I'm not judging, just asking... I could have put this question on a lot of the 1st rounds matchs of this LPL but I think this one would better illustrate what I mean and make the question clearer ( I hope ;) )

I think I know what you mean. According to me the first entry has a little too much light in the photo and that is why the coulours are "warped" (sorry could not think of a fitting word in english). In real life both entries will be very evenly matched I believe.

Top stuff from both painters!

Two very nice groups of figures, but the Archers are my personal favourites.

For me this match-up was a lot harder than the votes suggest. Both are excellently painted models but the second entry simply has more of them, and a cow!

Possibly the most difficult to judge - well done to both entries.

This is where selling on ebay comes in handy, I've had a lot of practice at aiming lights and a camera at small groups of figures.

Figouze has probably got his lights over the figs and I've got mine close to the camera and aimed straight at the group, his colours look brighter mine look deeper. probably no difference in real life.
Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.

I always wondered how you did that. I probably pose my lights in to a cavalier fashion. I shall try to do what you suggest.

Very useful information, I shall have to try that, thanks!

I think they're Redoubt and Foundry, they were a commission so maybe the owner can tell you for sure, Nick?  :)
