Beautiful figures all but if I have to make one comment it would be that they are holding the bills at port to high, those things are heavy and are much easier to carry with a straight arm (I'll still be buying them though
)
cheers

This is not really true. You can trust me, I have done my fair share of marching (and loads of fighting) with this kind of weaponry, and for parade marching or the like, or in a cramped town area this is prefered. It looks good and are also good when trying to avoid hitting people. I have done that, for instance marching in the old town of Stockholm, and the Palace and such.
You would otherwise store them on a cart, or actually holding the metal part and dragging them behind you, to spare your self the weight issue.
Same with two-handed swords, wich in contrary to popular belive is NOT that heavy, I have tried loads of period weapons, copies and training weaponry. They are super fast weapons, and ALLWAYS hit first if fighting a person with a shorter weapon, unlike most gaming systems. This is due to the nature of the weapon, and also the fact that two-handed swords are loooooong, and hence have superior reach.
The only reason for allowing a shorter weapon to hit first, is that you allow the opponent to get within reach (and hence his/her prefered fighting range) so that you can in the last moment move in body to body close, and either flip the greatsword and fight with the quillion and buttspike, or keep it straight and fight with quillion and buttspike. This is a very good way of fighting sword/buckler and such.
Another thing. A single sword in one hand, is by far, and I mean by far, the absolute hardest way of fighting, its almost utter useless against
any other kind of weapon combination. Ninja or not.
