Though:
- for the F&IW she would wear a tricorne rather than a slouched hat,
- she is depicted at 14, so for a 'generic' armed female settler she would be older and look more... developed

Hi Abdul,

Thanks for the input, I had seen the statue before, but not the painting.
Although this lady died before the F&IW, so the character name wouldn't fit, the general principle for a lady Habitante holds up.  

I'm wondering about the provenance of the painting, which although very nicely executed, seems to lean a little on early 20th century popular "Pilgrim Fathers" imagery.  

I'm planning some female settlers at some point, so these pictures will go into my files for sure.

Here's the first figure painted from the upcoming "Settlers Defending Command & Characters" pack, three of the figures from the pack are completed, I started the other three sculpts and will finish them in the coming weeks

An excellent figurine, generic enough to have a *lot* of potential even outside the F&IW: think Treasure Island, Dr Syn, Moonfleet or more...   unusual adventures

I like a lot of these figures...as a guy who's working on Pirates though, I'm more interested in guys like the one you just posted.  Something I can cross-use for my games.  Looks great!

While I love EVERYTHING in the list, I'm especially excited by the new Huron and Compagnies Franches de la Marine!  I have so many anglos and Mohawks, I can't wait to get some more opposition to equal things out.  The Compagnies Franches de la Marine have so many uses for skirmish, they will fill such a big gap and keep me from seeking other suppliers.  Thanks Lance.
