Would there be any mileage in creating an updatable list of all the plastic figures, that seem to appear in increasing speed?

Period order, then just the name, manufacturer and availablilty

I think he's talking about 28mm hard plastic figurines and I hope only historical / slightly sci fi because otherwise we would have to include all what has ever appeared from GW as well.
