Getting Started: Malifaux
« on: June 24, 2011, 05:36:33 PM »
Tabletop Gaming News has posted the first article in their new "Getting Started" series which looks at the costs and requirements to start playing a new game. These articles are not intended as reviews but just a nuts and bolts discussion of the game, the minimum amount of figures you need to start, and how well things like starter sets play and if they give you a full experience of the game.

We are starting out this series with a look at Malifaux. We'd be more than happy to hear suggestions about other games to cover as well as changes and additions to the current format. This is the first article and we're looking for reader feedback to help make the articles as useful as possible.

Thanks

Just for the hell of it I'd like to see the start up cost of getting started with Warhammer fantasy or 40k these days.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

The start-up price of Legends Of The High Seas would also be great!  ;)

A joke though it is but the series won't ever be covering those games.
