An interesting piece of kit, and as all the parts are apparently seperate it could be very useful.

And as people have already said upthread, only the random skulls on the fences are really too skulltastic, but they are (hopefully!) fairly easy to remove.

Anyone know the length and width of the entire layout in inches?

What a surprise....
Lots of spikes and skullz...
If it was not for the overkill on those two, I'd get it.

You know for once I don't think the GW obsession with skulls is out of place here. I think it's quite subdued for them, and works well. I like the piece.

They could have had twice as many and still would have been outdone by some real life ossuaries.

I've visited one of those places in Rome and found it more repulsive than all the GW shop you could shake a stick at... And that's me saying it.

I don't have a problem with the skulls, but it appears to have vines and foliage integrated... that I do not like.

Point.  They can sometimes be an unfortunate addition since they're hard to match on the rest of your scenic pieces.  One thing I do like about them, though.  Did you notice that they've modeled the Black Roses of Morr in various places?

Been hunting and hunting, but can't find anything in the way of measurements, but, perhaps we've not long to wait.

As far as the 'skulls' go, it took me looking on another forum to have the gate itself pointed out to me. At first, I thought the question was the large skull ABOVE the gate, but I have to agree, the skull shape incorporated INTO the gate is a bit much. I can think of places appropriate for them, but not on this model.

Not too bad. Actually I like it. Except for the statue. For non-Warhammer/mordheim use you can always replace it with something more suitable.
And it seems a reasonable price for GW standards. As others have said, some of the skulls can be removed.

Other than maybe the teeth and eyes, even that is for the most part easily removed or altered.  It is plastic, after all.

Well, I'd probably say the 'cheeks' and eyes; the teeth might pass for a bit of abstract iron work. Now that I think on it, the 'nostrils' work as hand holds.

Anyway, never meant to suggest it was difficult to correct, just extra work on a bit that probably bothered me the most once I saw it. ;->=

I'm not so keen on the building but I like the gate and the fencing. Two kits of just those parts would suit me well.

I think it's great. If this was out a year and a half ago, I wouldn't have scratch-built my mausoleums.

I have to admit that I have been really impressed with the value of the G.W. scenery. This one looks like no exception and will no doubt feature on my table at some point in the near future. Pet Peeve: They are really, really spikey. Try not to put your hands near them... :?

Still, look great...

I picked up this kit over the weekend. It has a lot of potential. The base is made up of five separate tiles and when placed together it is about 11 inches by 7 inches. Very crowded that way and I will more than likely spread it out amongst my other cemetery pieces.

It's not abad bit of kit. Does the base come as part of it, or is it buildings only?
