Entirely underwhelmed as with most of their overrated sculpts..Mike's best work was with Games Workshop but since then I have seen little to impress me...no real originality and as has been mentioned the price indicates they think they're better than they are!
I'll agree with most of that but this particular sculpt is by Kev White (Hasslefree)...but I would suspect that the concept came from the McVeys.
I agree that it has echoes of the old style dreads from the 80s/AT43 mechs but I don't view that as a bad thing.
I think that the price is the real sticking point for a lot of people...with something that expensive, you feel that you have to REALLY like it to buy it so any doubts will mean that it remains un-bought.
I wouldn't say that the sculpt was uninspired...just utilitarian and I quite like the rustic nature of the design but I guess it isn't to everyone's taste.
Even I have to really think about whether I want to buy one because of their price...and I like them a lot.
(I'm tempted to buy a bunch of arms and build the rest myself though...)
