Nice group shot - I particularly love the duelists facing each other in that first picture.

At one point, a lot of the Citadel figures had really big feetsies.  I remember some of the elves, in particular...

just putting together some old things, the idea is to make a kind of a freak procession with animals, freaks, zombies and other characters. What do you think, any suggestions for that?

Mordheim Carnival of Chaos Plague Cart (or whatever it's called) would be good. Now I think about it Carnival Of Chaos had some other nice oddities in it like a nurglish ringmaster type, a weird jester and a Plaguebearer in a cape.

Hope this helps  :D

Well, and that one car with the cage full of vampire kids.

I probably need to reshoot it. It's an old, old photo and I painted the coachman just last year. But: will do.

Today a "rebased" update, my beloved Mordheim Ostlanders. I've painted this gang about 10 years ago (April 2001) and as you can see I did use some very bright colours on them. In those days I had got not too many colours, no splendid Vallejo palette, no amazing Foundry triads, only some GW and Pelikan ones. And I liked it making my miniatures bright and vivid, quite like old GW school.

I didn't repaint the gang, just rebased and revarnished them. Nowadays I wouldn't paint them that way and I gave up this painting style years ago but I still like them. And I think they also deserve it to be re-photographing.

that Jes Goodwin Bandit Ogre doens't really belong to the Ostlanders set, I just found he fits very well to the gang.

btw, just to compare, the old photo. In the meantime I've learned a lot about making photos.

No, the guy isn't that big at all, it's the old ogre, he is a bit on the small side.

Ten year old painting  :o

Beats my best hands down  :)

About the carnivale, how about stringing them all together with chain. Maybe some sort of rules mod that they have to go around really close together until the 'master' let's them off the chain ( some random event would let this happen  ??? )

cheers
