It is probably about €2.35 per tile (1 sqm for 23.50), but what is the normal price in Germany? I'm planning to bring the trailer next time we go to visit the in-laws near Haderslev, and then go south of the border to do some shopping.

If I can find a builders' market/hardware store, I might bring back some dense insulation foam, and even some cork, if it is cheaper down there.

That is a normal price for Germany too but you also could get the stuff cheaper (12-15 EUR). Though sometimes you’ll have to be patient and take some time looking through the hardware stores.

Barmaid, not sure, probably will be painted though I don’t like the mini very much. But maybe to give you some pleasure :)

You could always replace her with a couple feisty dwarf barmaids...  ;)

Is that something I’ve missed? Have you got some?

Finished. It has been a long long time since I've built anything. Good feeling that. Now back to figures for some days.

One thing you could do about the windows is cover them with some fine mesh, to give the aspect of leaded glass. :)

I just need to buy a keyboard plastic protection RIGHT NOW to save it from all the DROOOOOLING every time I open this thread.  lol

The finished building is :-*  :-*  :-*

And the painted figures makes it come to "LIFE".

Thanks for sharing.

Now, let me drool a little more...  ;)
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

When you find it, please tell!

I've managed to find the stuff for car repairs, fine for fences and post-apoc car windows, but it seems to be a little too tight for leaded windows.

Love the building, makes me want to jump right into scratch-building, which I have NO time for...  lol

Nice building.  I particularly like the way you made the stair, which looks like you can fit bases inside it so that figures can be placed part-way up.

Today is the day of the Great Bear, though only in my small universe. Anyway, these are three lovely teddies from my collection, finally painted.

For Witchtown's amusement..

Older OOP Metal Magic Bear

Mordheim Kislev OOP Bear

the only not-OOP one, from the current GW Empire range.

these a few trees are trying to look like a deep forest. Obviously fruitless. I definitely need more trees.
