Thanks for sharing! Hadn't seen that, but was just there the other day to place an order for some of their awesome Samurai. I think Steve's technique will work quite well...must give it a go sometime. Although I don't use GW paints/inks.

Apart from the Black Grey and Sepia ink which are obvious, can anyone tell me what are the equivalent colours from the Vallejo range that match the paints used in the demo please? Have 5 boxes of plastic Mahdists to wade through and 160 metals too.

scorched brown = charred brown (vallejo game colour) or hull red (985 vallejo model colour)
fortess grey = stonewall grey (vgc) or pale grey blue (907 vmc)
devlan mud = umber ink vallejo

Hum, i don't like to say that, but i don't like the tutorial, at least the photos: If you have to show the steps for a dark skingtones highligh you just can't use a polished surface miniature. There should be some kind of ambient light to avoid that, because the photos aren't representative at all! =(

Thanks Johan, very useful. Have to agree with Sangennaru though about the picture quality on the demo photos, very hard to tell the difference between any of the latter.
