I've sent mine but I'm not sure if we are meant to expect an acknowledgment that its arrived (seems lots of extra work for Alex) so I might send it another 6 or 7 times to be sure lol

I know!!!! Tonight I will abandon my family and escape to the photo studio (aka garage) and snap some photos.  This round really kicked my ass and has eaten up most of the "extra" time I had husbanded so carefully after turning in 3 weeks worth right off the bat!  I see some late Friday nights in my future for the next 5-6 weeks!

Oh well...enough complaining...back to the brushes!

Cheers,

Blue

Just snapped a picture of my round 4 entry, after a heavy start with three teams entered I was a bit out of the LPL buzz but now it's starting to come back at full swing now that I have to deliver a fresh entry every week again. It's a bit scary that next week is already bonus time and I haven't painted anything for that round yet, I'm not even really settled on the second team to paint! I'd better get focused on getting the first team done I suppose.

Anyway, round four is finished and sent. 8)

Yeah. I just sent in my 4th round pic - definitely the weakest part of my LPL game.   I was planning on building some more terrain for round 5 after I finished painting the teams.  Focus is hard to come by though.  :)
Painted:  2025:539; 2024: 410; 2023: 37; 2022: 56

Round 4 is finished and posed on the gaming table, ready for a photo. Did some test shots yesterday but still not sure I'm going in the right direction. I'll find out. This will be my worst painted entry in any LPL so far, I hate it! =/ A two day rush-job if ever there was one. On the up-side, I've finished the first team for Round 5 and have started a little on team 2 and really hope I'll be able to submit a two team entry.

The worst part about the LPL is how you (might) end up rushing through miniatures you've looked forward to painting for ages! That was the case with a few guys in round 4, and will be the case for all five in round 5 team 2.

When round 5 is fully painted I'll start painting round 10 and use backup teams for any rounds inbetween if I can't keep up with the pace. I've got five of them allready photographed and good to go, but will try my damndest to submit a new entry every round. Seeing how one of them consists of 13 miniatures I'm not sure I'll be able to.

And that concludes the lengthy LPL6 post of the day.

Greetings

duh... I did send a Round-4 Picture, but that wasn't my best photo work. Then my computer crashed. Total failure. R.I.P. Now I have a new one, with a 64Bit-OS ... and my camera doesn't seem to be able to download the pictures without error messages. Shoot. Now I will try to find the original program CD which was with camera, so I can install all that software and upgrade everything since the Nikon-site only has upgrades online.

So picture 4 will not be so great. But you'll still recognize something  :D

And Round 5 goes along very well.

@ artshiraz
i had some similar crash a while ago ... thought my cam went down the drain. Some of its internals did for sure, because my compu did not recognize any of its automatic down-load programming, and even some re-installing was of no good use - shock :o
In this case I thank my windows, because there is (didn't know that) some automatic (not cam specific) tool included, which saved my a... the pix ... pooohah!  o_O

@ something else
so ... today I sent the rest of my team's pix (at least, still 8 out of 10), because I won't have time during the next weeks for more painting. However! I can still participate in voting and watching all this (like a friend is always saying) "gamer porn" ^^

best wishes and again MANY MUCH LOTS of thanx to the Prof for doing all this!

best wishes

first team for round 5 finished, Team 2 should be arriving by post on Monday, certainly hope so.
2 of round 6 painted
Round 7 just needs highlights
Almost finished the four character figures for round 10, about another twelve to go. I have a back up boat but hope to have another model in time.
Not completely happy with everything, one of the character figures is a really poor sculpt (had to rebuild her nose!)

Got Round 4 in earlier this week.
Bad guys for Round 5 are done and now it's just a matter of getting their opponents finished by this time next week.
