Excellent work :) I like them. Only minus is from the rather dull bases, but if that fits the backgrounds that's more than ok :)

I can't speak for grobut, but I always use the same kind of base process for my figures... then they go with all my terrain. That takes priority rather than fancy wood plank bases for the pirates.  lol

Actually I think that that 'Jonas-type-pirate' really benefits from having been coated with gloss varnish. The bones in the noses of the cannibals look a bit like monocles, but I can assure you that it is in the piccies only, folks.
