That is one sweet set up!!! So jealous...

Thanks, Mo!!

The boys from beyond the wall are always ready Mason. I need to fit in a quick trophy hunt before tho ( using my remaining map piece). Curse BLAM and work from getting in the way of serious gaming :D

Good to hear it, mate.
Dont panic, I am sure that we can sort something out for next week.
It gives you a little time to finish your team off, at least... ;)

Haha! I'll have you know there is no longer any bare metal in the team.

I'll not shame you again by bringing an unpainted team to the table... They seem so out of place in your AAR pics.

The new Sister Asumpta is actually finished  :D perhaps this means she won't get killed.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

No shame, mate.
The main thing is that they ARE getting there.
As for not getting killed- Fingers crossed!

I managed to finished the two Scenes of Mild Discomfort* yesterday.

Two very simple pieces that are deliberately not too SA specific as I intend to use them as scenery as well.
They should work pretty well in my British Isles SA setting, particularly for more rural areas.
I think that they can be used as Scenes of Horror, as I see them as an area that is haunted and emitting an aura that causes fear.

And individual shots of them with 'Dr' Fiennes-Toombs bravely defying their aura for scale purposes.

I apologise for the slightly washed-out looking pictures.
I obviously got a little carried away with the lighting.
I hope it isnt too bad....
 ::)

I intend to do a few more SA specific Scenes in future (one I have already started), but these will serve the purpose for now.

Hope that you like them.....

COOL & SPOOKY STUFF! I'm into cool & spooky...explains most of the women in my life. While there is nothing overtly sinister about the scenes, they are somehow disturbing. VERY WELL DONE!

Sorry I missed commenting on The Gathering at your new Warehouse (from HELL!)...it looks like a KLu Klux Klan Picnic. Again VERY WELL DONE!

Scenes of mild discomfort indeed, Mason! You nutta, that's had me chuckling in filthy manner over my sandwiches. :D

Looking good, mate. I think far more sinsiter than the goings on with the Cult of the Purple Headed Worm is the shadowy events of Dulwich Village known only by the working title of Project X, whereby you have evidently made at least one clone of yourself! You musta done* mate, as it is the only way I can think to explain your ludicrously industrious production line productivity on belting out a stream of quality models! Another fine pair of pieces for the scenes of horror, sir - although I don't think those CDs will ever play properly again...

Top work, Mason, you well and truly put me to shame. I haven't managed a single drop of paint** in all the time I have been looking after Kitsune's gaff, and the Hound of Terror aka Howling Wilf (sometimes known as Mac). I promise to get back in the groove as soon as I am home again in Ryleeh aka Catford.

* "Don't you call me a mastadon!"
** Although I did buld a Contemptor Dreadnought and a Blight Drone, which must count for something (the latter being employed in my own Strange Aeons camapign)

Top notch as per usual Mason. Your really on fire with your terrain at the moment mate. Looking forward to seeing what's next... How about a corrupt war memorial?

Thanks, for the comments, chaps.
They were a fairly easy, straightforward job and fill a gap in the SA collection quite well until I have something more Horrific completed!
 ;)

The more I hear of your past, the more colourful it gets!

I am glad that you approve, and that they gave you a chuckle.
To be honest, I find making scenery a whole lot easier.
In fact, I am starting to be drawn back in that direction again.
There are a lot more minis to paint for SA before I can justify that, though.
You should know, you have seen the pile that is awaiting attention!

Thanks, YY!
They are indeed LotR statues.
I forgot that I had them until I came across them while looking for something for someone else.

Cheers, mate!
I DO indeed have plans for another statue.
It is not a War Memorial, but very specific to my British SA project.
Maybe soon...

I do have something else finished, which I will post tomorrow...

Thanks, aggro!
I have had a couple of days free recently. so decided that I had better grab the opportunity while I could.
I wont be getting anything done for a week or so now.... ::)

The last thing that I finished recently is this lovely stone hut made by Zaheer on the LAF.
(If you want one for yourself you can send him a PM to see if he has any left.  ;))

It is a nice little resin model, that I thought would work well as a Witch's Hut.
I will also used it as a Scene of 'whatever', hence the CD base.

The Witch's Hut.
(Appropriate for Halloween, methinks... ;))

It is a slightly overexposed picture, but you get the idea.

That will be it for a while.
Hope that you like it...

Great work on the foliage, I like all the wild floers growing out of the top.  That's something I've got to work at.

Grab yourself some tufts, it certainly makes easy work of that sort of thing.
