VERY COOL...an Elvin Stylist & a Skeletal Caterer! I really enjoy your choice of minis & painting style; each new post is an event. GREAT WORK!

a Skeletal Caterer!

This is more appropriate than you think!

I wanted to paint the cauldron contents with something different than the usual "bucket o' blood" or "Mysterious bright green/blue/purple brew", so I decided to just paint some natural but ambiguous colours, with a golden yellow centre fading to a reddish brown rim (glossed over afterwards). It doesn't show in the photos, but after I finished painting, everybody here said that it looked like he's got a pot full of crème brulée.  lol

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

I may have to require that you build another one!  ;)

Wait... you mean a how-to for how I make my custom Mage Knight dials? I thought you meant WIP shots of my painting that skeleton figure. I didn't sculpt any of these myself, if that's what you meant!

Here's the fellow who was so unceremoniously dropped yesterday (this is post-repair).

I am delighted to see he survived the fall...I drop my minis so often I consider it a rite of passage. He is a WONDERFULLY ornate character with an equally wonderfully expressive face. OUTSTANDING WORK!

I was very lucky that the face survived the fall. All that armour's good for something after all, eh?  lol

Awesome armor! Glad to hear it absorbed the damage! That's some wonderful variations in the metal colors.

The Babe turned out BEAUTIFULLY! You did a truly SPLENDID job on her face....definitely more an upgrade than a replacement. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks DeafNala, that was definitely one of the faces I'm happier with.

The face on the previous incarnation turned out really nice face too , so the pressure was on to get this one right! I did save the old one though, swapping her out to use as a different hero.

If anyone's interested this was the Ax Faction Raen of Rannoch, with a conversion job to give her a less ridiculous sword.
