Just finished reading through the whole thread.  WOW!

I particularly like the female warrior on rearing horse from the last page.  It seems rare to find a fully clothed mounted female in an at-battle pose. I may have to keep my eye out for that figure.

Well, just FYI, she did have one of those silly boob windows, but I converted it a bit and painted it over.

There's some really nice face work going on in this thread Fram (among other interesting things). Well done!

I loved this mini as soon as I saw it and snapped one up right away (a good thing too, because CMON is already out of stock for now). It's just a little oversized for me, but his fine features means he just looks like a fairly tall fellow, so he works fine.

Very fiddly to paint, but I'm quite happy with the result.

This is one of those minis that cry out for background fluff & hint at what that might entail. The face is WONDERFUL; like his posture, it defines his personality...GREAT brushwork! VERY WELL DONE!

I think you can be very pleased with yourself for that Fram. What range is it from as I don't recogise it?

Thanks fellows! He's the recently-released "Gallant Knight" from CMON.

The backstory (from long ago) for the Mage Knight figure I'm using him for, had the character as an adventurer sworn to service to some dragonfolk, now roaming the land to help those in need.

He was a bit more of a cheerful fellow in the fiction that came out to support the sets he was in, but the figure is a bit more stoic so that's the way I wound up painting him. I tried to bridge that by giving him a brighter, more colourful costume. So perhaps this is "a serious moment", but he's not grim. Either way, the relaxed confidence is perfect for a warrior trained by powerful magical (dragon) warrior monks.

I mentioned that he's out of stock already, but given that this was the first listing, I suspect CMON will probably have a restock soon.

Back on the hog, I suppose?

Sort of flubbed the OSL, but then I never do that stuff.
