Wee Aggro and I managed to get in a fantasy themed game today. It didn't really fit in with any of my other threads, so I thought I'd start a new thread here.

A lot of these miniatures I painted a few years ago and I've never posted them before.

Here's a few photos.

There's a lot of photos, so I linked them to the blog.

PIC HEAVY WARNING though.  :D

Nice pics and AAR at the blog.

What rules did you use? MEST?

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Looks good, and a good game. 3' x 3' boards are perfect for fantasy skirmish gaming.
I couldn't quite work out which rules set you were using mind you.

Thanks magokiron, Mason and dijit.  :D

When I meet with my mate Kitrok we play with his MEST rules.
At home, with Wee Aggro, I play a sort of simplified version of the MEST rules to keep the lad's attention.  ;D

Thanks Thantsants!  :D

These are some (Alternative Armies?) figures I found in a shoebox about a year ago.
I quickly painted them up soon after I found them. Not the greatest figures, or paint jobs, but they were essentially free since I forgot I even owned them!  :D

Sorry, the first couple pictures are a blurry in places.

Turned pretty good to be "a quick paint job".

It's always a pleasure to open a box or drawer and find some minis you don't remember you had.

Even better if those minis fit with one of your ciurrent projects/games.  lol

Thanks for sharing.

I am not sure about the 'Not the greatest figures, or paint jobs' bit, both look pretty good to me.

If that is the result of a quick paintjob, I envy you.

Those are really good. I thought I was the only one who actually likes the look AA got to the Erin range.
A sadly under-rated game IMHO.

Nice ones. I agree they look rather good for a "quick one"...  ;)

Good old treasure boxes, I hope you'll find more somewhere.
