Last night (at least for me ;)) I got an email from kit with a nice pdf invoice with a value of $100.

I'm going to send it out shortly and with some luck will receive the package either at the end of the week or start of next week.
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

My package arrived yesterday. The tracking number proved useless (I'm in Canada). Other than saying "Ready for UPS" for a few weeks, it never changed. However, the box arrived and everything was inside as ordered. It took me a few hours to open all the plastic baggies and sort things out. I picked a few pieces to get started with. :)

Arrived, with a customs charge of £18.93.

Fantastic stuff.  Really pleased I got into this one.

If anyone wants to sell me a jabberwocky to help defray these customs stings PM me. Lets face it people are you ever going to get around to painting the freakin Jabberwock with all the rest of the stuff in your new white plastic mountain?

That's one of the models I may actually paint up  lol

Same here. When they added that one to to add-ons I knew I had to have one for painting.

Mine Vampire pledge box arrived yesterday ... they are nice, but I really wish I hadn't got them now, I'll never paint them or probably even use them.

Received mine earlier this week (Canada, no customs charges).  It's a daunting box of unpainted miniatures for sure.

Lot's of boiling water fixes needed however...swords/staves/spears on lots of models and slim ankles leaduing to insane leaning on a bunch.  This doesn't surprise me but does up the prep time.

I fixed all the mummies, zombies and skeletons in about 5 minutes. Two cereal bowls full of water. Throw one in the microwave for two minutes. Put three or four ice cubes in the other while the microwave runs. Dump all the figures in the hot water a few at a time. Use tweezers or pliers to take them out and overbend anything that needs a little extra tweak as you hold it in the cold water.

These will be some of my first test models. I'm really hoping that the 'no need to prime' is true.

A little problem here: I didn't receive any shipping confirmation yet, but in a few days from now i'm gonna live my town for a while (summer holidays)... I usually don't order anything in July, but this enormous delay wasn't expected!

Do you guys have the same problem? any solution?

Yep have the same problem. Hoping to solve it when the shipping confirmation comes. Change the shipping address or something. Or I just hope it arrives in September  lol. Will act when the problem is nay.

Has anyone made any experience with those translucent ghost/fire types? That's one of the fews I'm interested in, but I'm not shure how they will turn out after dipshading(homebrownot the oil one)/drybrushing.
Far less active than I used to...

I ran a quick wash over them, and got a lot of beading.  So after cleaning them, I've basecoated them with Testor's Dullcoat (gives a very slight frosting) and will try again, possibly with flow improver/more matte medium in the mix.  Then I can paint or drybrush on them as nomal.

I'll... keep you informed as to progress!
