Got my stuff.... that Kaladrax sure is a beast. I am not really looking forward to painting it, though. Mainly because of the filling inside the ribcage, I am not sure what to do with it. Maybe paint some eldritch blue effects? :? And the tail - needs shortening I think?

I must say I prefer Nethyrmaul even if it's smaller. And the Cthulhu doesn't look as bad with them miniwings as I feared, but I am still tempted to swap the wings for something more substantial...

Eek, some bits are really bendy, almost rubbery stuff, like C:s head. Hope they take paint well?

As for the rest of the stuff in the Vampire pack, there's a LOT of it. What am I going to do with all this? o_o lol

You Kiwis really are on the short end of the stick aren't you? 2.5 times the cost of the package in customs and fees :o

No I mean I think if the package costs about $250 we then get charged 15% or something, I don't know. To be honest I've never had to pay customs charges for anything I have imported.

Ok, that's somewhat better.

I always get busted, so I just assume that I'll have to pay for customs, and haul my ass to the middle of nowhere and pick my pack up. I also assume that it will rain as hell the day I decide to go there...

Yeah me as well, bought 2 things from the US and got stung both time, the first time the royal mail charges were more than the figures cost originally, thankfully even with the £30 extra I am expecting to pay that amount of figures will still be worth it.  I can just sell Kaladrax if I cant be bothered to paint him :P

Well, my box got here. Customs was 31€. The big ones are really cool and well worth it.

The "vampire" set was, well, a bit of a letdown in my opinion. I don't find detail is all that good on the material, at least on the human sized, lot of them seem squashed and facial detail on human and elf figures is sometimes all but missing, noses are often just the faintest of hints. Monsters are better and the more exagerated the features the better the figures.

Also, going through them, I realized there are few in them I actually have a use for, it's such an ecclectic mix.

Honestly, I don't get why they'd use this material on anything smaller than orcs.

I'm happy enough with them but I think I'll buy my human sized and less in metal and get my big monsters in bones to save a bit. Need that pathfinder dragon.

Same here, I have a bunch of elf types and the witch model with no noses at all, and the orcs look like thier tongues have expanded up and swallowed thier teeth.

The small gribbly familiar types actually look pretty good but in general as you said it's such a random assortment and the detail is not as good as I had hoped, still they were cheap.... lol

I have two legendary Encounters (same material but prepainted) Minotaurs here and the Material is quite good for minis that size (still a bit to wobbly for my personal taste, but at this size the prize begins to matter).

I won't buy it for anything other than Giants and big Monsters.

I received my parcel last Friday, after paying 34 euros for taxes and re-shipping. >:(

I'm pretty happy with it, although my Cthulhu came with two right wings (need to email Reaper to get a replacement). And sure as hell I don't understand why I didn't add the mythos monsters and the driders. Live and learn!

I created a thread to trade bones back then. I'll contact the (very few) people who expressed interest (must have the PMs stored); and I think I'll start a new and clearer trade thread in the bazaar, for all of us. Let's see if we can optimize our investments. :)

That sounds like a good idea.

Finally got mine yesterday, and was up to 10pm opening and sorting them. I don't dare tell my missus that was the highlight of my night  lol
As I was one of the last 100 orders posted they included a free undead dragon (nethyr...something?) He is pretty cool, I might make him the centrepiece of my larger-than-skirmish-but-smaller-than-a-real-army undead force.
I have to agree with some of what WK posted, many of the minis I will have no use for (elves and gnomes, I'm looking at you) and the detail on some faces is a bit soft. For some reason I ordered two sets of the deep dwellers when there is only one miniature in that set I wanted anyway.

Well, at least I got this shitty message. Now to see how much it will set me back, and the amount of curses I can sum up when picking up the stuff in the middle of nowhere.
