I will say, the test mini for the Panzergrenadier looks alright, and they seem to have an actual product lined up now.

The harduit looks nice. Then again things always look great in the 3d renderings.

I'm not sure that the hardsuit pictures are even 3D renderings, rather than finished 2d artwork.

I assume that this Grenadier is a render ...



... while these are physical artefacts of some kind.



Comparing them, the detail on the physical model looks much softer, with particular problems where the trousers meet the armour at the crotch.  The pointing arm looks rather long, but that might just be the way its attached, and while the legs on both models look a little short, that might well be a combination of the camera angle and the length of the body armour.  Potentially useable, though.

I quite like these. With the face mask and breathing gear I could see them as some near future hazmats for zombie games.

Most of the Defiance range leaves me with an overwhelming stomach full of "meh"...BUT...the design of those hardsuits.  Now...that is something that intrigues me.  If they're carried out properly and well done...well damn.  They have such a "real space" look to them.  Space scavenger style, very slick.  Even old-sci-fi enough to represent perhaps Colonial Marines hazardous environment suits for an ALIENS game?  I'd cut off the ubiquitous combat knives on the arm, but other than that I think they have tons of potential.

Hmmm, pretty neat looking.  I prefer the more hunched image of the Defiance guys - but everything looks cool before its put into production   I'd have definitely bought some hardsuits for cheap.

Almost makes me want to do an Abyss deep-sea game...

Its a cool hardsuit but it should have some kind of close defense capability. A small mg would be sufficient.
It would be a bad day if the enemy sneak close and all you got is those rockets.

Its to bad that the Panzer grenadiers didn´t match the concept images, they looked promising.
The proportions are all wrong, arms so long that they can scratch the kneecaps and so on.

No seriously, if the test plastic shots are anything to go by, the Germans are going to come out worse than the Marines. Hopefully they will be improved upon.

The Germans look acceptable, but I'm waiting on those Hardsuits as well.
