HeadCrab Zombie Updated Photo
« on: 24 September 2012, 12:57:11 PM »
Hi Everyone  :)

I sculpted this over the weekend for a bit of fun  :)

Its based on a head crab Zombie from the half life computer games.

What do think?
( sorry about the poor photo's. its not as rough looking in real life honestly  ;) )

Thanks
George

Well, it is a nice sculpt, but to be a headcrab should the zombie not need claws for hands and the legs on the headcrab should be a bit smaller? Buit at first glance it is recognisable enough to say headcrab, no worries about that.

This is not critique, I could not sculpt to save my life and enjoy seeing your effort.

No worries  :), the more I think about it, it looks more like a mind control squid or something.

I might start on some real head crabs with claws and ripped clothing. more zombie like, stumbling forward etc..

Thanks
George

Exactly what I thought, which leads to the idea of a sprue of such heads, to replace those of any miniature you want to look like its in thrall to such a cranial crustacean  :D

should the body of the crab not be a bit bigger... doesn't look like the head of the victim would fit as is...

I like it. I'd definitely buy some as I have a long term ambition to build a Half Life alien army.  :o

I was sort of thinking the same thing.
