Well, if that's how much they want to charge, I'd say screw em.  Tell ya what, I will let you know how much it costs to ship a copy to pocoloco.  If it's reasonable ($12-15) I'll see about putting together a small international group buy for you guys, so I'd order a set of 5-7 of the game, and ship them personally.

I hadn't tried (obviously) ordering anything from Gamecrafter internationally...that sucks.  It's a stupidly small parcel too (four decks of cards).  That's a shame.

Cheers, i appreciate it. It would be great if something could be worked out. Obviously only worth it if there are enough people internationally who want the game (I'm sure there are) and postage individually is good.

Yeah, I'll do some research, and I'll go and pick up some very small boxes (just enough to fit the game and tokens in).  Perhaps I can throw in tokens at a reduced cost, to make it a bit more worthwhile.

I'll do a test run with Pocoloco and let you guys know how much it is.

UPDATE:

So...I looked it up on USPS's site and if I purchase postage online I can ship a 1 lb. (I think the game weighs less) box for $14.63 USD...apparently anywhere.

Assuming this holds true, I can consider doing a batch of say 10 SNS games...also making tokens an options, for a bit less than Gamecrafter charges.

$25 SNS + $15 shipping + $15 if you want the 50 tokens as well...? That's probably the best I can do.  I can only drop the price if we had a huge order (ie. several hundred copies) of SnS, something I'm not financially able to do right now.  The pricing changes a bit between countries, but generally would be around the same.  So if I get five or more people interested in buying a set, let me know and I'll put something together.

PS: If anyone wants to buy a couple of sets for them and their buddies etc., that would reduce overall cost too.

Well, I'll give it a while and see if there is any interest.  At five or more sets, I can make an order - maybe I can even order them at my non-sale price of $20.93...so I can recoupe the cost of shipping and buying boxes...we'll see.  Anyone else chime in, I checked and Australia and Botswana are both about the same to ship, so the offer stands for pretty much anyone if you're abroad.

You don't have to buy the tokens at all, I just threw the idea out there if it makes it more palatable in making an overseas purchase.  (I know I only buy stuff overseas if I'm spending enough to think it's worthwhile!)

And of course, everyone is encouraged to wait and see what pocoloco thinks when he gets his copy.

I don't know how cheap postage is in the UK, but yes, if I was to send one larger box to one person, shipping would be cut down dramatically --- but I don't know how much you guys pay the have stuff shuttled around that little island of yours.  

I'd imagine a larger box with 5-6 decks/token sets would only be $20-25 total...so if it would be cheaper to split it up once there, you guys can let me know.

Just a request - if anyone orders a copy, please let me know.  I have listed a price at $24.99 but I am unable to "publish" my game because I refuse to add a box to the game (which adds $5 to the cost...for something NO ONE will use).  I'm curious if I'll actually get any money if it's not published, even though it lists a profit of $2.84.

Please let me know.  I'd actually be fine even if they give it to me in store credit, as I'll just turn around, buy copies myself and then sell them etc.  But if anyone buys a copy, please let me know, so I can see how this works.

The first of many videos (it's tiring and annoying to make these in my cramped freakin' apartment...).  I'll try to get around to actual gameplay videos in the next few days, but these should introduce some of the concepts.

The videos are being kept as short and concise as possible.  When the gameplay videos are posted they will likely miss some of the minor special rules, but will essentially give you an idea of how the game plays...STAY TUNED!

Yeah...seen some issues with it from other people too.  Here's the thing.

It's not "officially" published.  In order to publish it, I'm required to add a box to the game - a useless addition of $5 I refuse to do.  CptJake was able to buy it somehow, so I'll see what I can do.
