Okay, if you guys get a small UK "group buy" going, I can do the following:

$25 per set of cards (normal price)
$15 per set of tokens (since they'll be shipping together)
$25 international shipping for one box (to be distributed by one of you guys)

And I'll let you guys work out the local postage between yourselves.  I'll order the sets of cards at my discounted rate of about $20.93 so your payment will cover the cost of me having the stuff shipped to my house, etc.

If anyone else is interested in a group buy, I'll arrange something similar depending on where you are.  If I wasn't broke with a piss poor job right now I'd actually just spend $3-4K and buy a hundred sets of the cards so I could actually make some damn money off of them.  lol

I have some serious classwork for tomorrow and the next day, but expect more videos and a more finalized PDF early next week.  I'll be sending out a preview PDF to the mailing list in case anyone gets the cards early.

Elbows, any chance of you adding any packs of the Highlander vintage Poker cards to the order. I have had a quick look at sourcing them in the UK and there aren't many available?

There's one deck available on amazon.co.uk for £5 (not much use as you need two decks). The bicycle expert deck is readily available on eBay for £5. That's where I got mine as I prefer the bicycle deck for the "dirty" look.

Well, I can source them for about $7.50 per deck here...so if you're willing to pay $15+shipping (whatever it costs for them to mail them to me) then yes, I could put it all together.  I do not have a source for cheap ones.

Looks like you have some sources:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/1572810963/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new

They are as cheap if not cheaper than any way I can get them here, without a big bulk purchase.

I searched "1864 Highlanders" for your reference.

Nice one Elbows, didn't see all those options when I searched. I'll probably pick up this deck too as I seem to have become a collector of nice poker decks now (my most recent one being a Pirate/Day of the Dead themed deck bought online from a tattoo shop in Israel).

Yeah, I have both Bicycle and Highlanders and really prefer the Highlanders.  Much more of a replica deck.  You'll dig them.  I take both sets with me when I travel (two is one, and one is none and all that...).  I try to keep backup stuff for most of my games in case I lose stuff or someone gets sticky hands around the game table.

Elbows. Thanks for the Amazon link, I must have missed those. I'll pick them up from there. :)

So is anyone going to coordinate this UK group order? ???

Well, lets see who is in as, in an ideal world, we need at least five of us to make it worthwhile.

I am assuming that Malamute, Gutbukkit and myself make three.
Anyone else?

By the way: Tokens are not my thing, so I wont be needing any of those.
This may mean we can get another person in on the order.

I don't mind doing redistribution.  Won't be able to do it for a couple of weeks though. I'll have to wait till payday and for my reenactment weekends to be out of the way.

That is OK with me, mate.
I am in no mad rush, considering I have not even painted my figures yet.

Well, just let me know guys - if it becomes more than 4-5 I may have to bump shipping, as each set of cards is 184 cards and not exactly "light" so I don't know how much weight will affect it all.

If it ends up being 10-15 guys, it'll definitely be more for a total charge of shipping (but likely remain relatively cheap per person).  I may link the TMP thread over here, not sure if anyone is interested over there (probably the same crowd).

Well I just spent way too long designing a box...so that I can publish the game.  Guys are still encouraged to click on the direct link.  The boxed version will be $29.99 and you get nothing special, just a foam framed box to hold your cards in.  I had to order a copy of that version (it's called "Boxed Version" imagine that!).  Eventually that version will be placed on the gamecrafter site so if people google and find it, it will be available for sale.

Everyone is encouraged though to buy the non-boxed version for $5 less...unless you love boxes.  I'll post pictures when my copy arrives, it looks like a neat box.  I also may take some boxed copies to conventions to sell them directly, if people are interested.

Fine with me too.

So we need at least one or two other people. ???

Not essential, but splitting the postage that way would be nice, and makes sense as we will still have to pay for shipping within UK.
(Hopefully they will fit in a large letter slot...works out nice and cheap that way... ;))

Some more videos.  If anyone receives their copy of the cards in the mail, let me know.  I'm holding off sending out the PDF as I'm still working on it.  Just let me know when you get the cards and I'll shoot you guys a copy.
