Help! Looking for Interwar period weapons sprues
« on: January 01, 2013, 07:36:03 PM »
Hello chaps!

Being a little lazy here, I know, but I thought that I would tap into your knowledge.

I am looking for weapons suitable for the Interwar period that are available separately.
Shotguns and pistols, especially, but most any firearms of the period would be considered.
Also improvised weapons as in pitchforks, spades, hockey sticks and cricket bats would be handy too.

Those that are available to be used commercially as part of a sculpt would be particularly useful.

Reaper has a set called 20th Century Weapons.  Has a tommy gun, several pistols, a Winchester, German MG, etc.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Thanks, chaps, much appreciated.
 :)

Not sure about the Reaper ones, as their minis tend to be on the large side I have a feeling that these may be 'heroic' as well.

Still looking for more, especially shotguns!

They are certainly very nice and should fit the bill nicely.

It might be worth poking around The Assault Groups website for weapons - some of the ww2 stuff might be useful.

For improvised weapons, maybe Warlord Games?
