Just checked out the area on Google Maps - it's a beautiful little area, one that I can see turning pretty quickly for no reason at all. Kinda like Swedes themselves :D

Silversix, the new photos of your terrain look aweful, it looks so flat and boring. Not as exciting as your last WIP shots. Least all the base colour is done ;) lol lol

Your board looks good mate, I can see your inspiration.

Cheers
Matt
lol
There is actually an old warehouse that used to be a sailor/pirate hangaround for a hundred years. Sadly, we never passed it by since we were busy bickering about what to do about the catch (crabs and fish). Hopefully that piece will some how get into my project :)

Well, there is actually an author who has set all her detective stories in the area. No worris all you brits who have an unhealthy love for those. They are to be filmed in english soon...

It does in one way :) The northern archepelago is far more browner in colour and taller. Up there it's like going with a boat through the flooded himalayas with peaks here and there, while the southern parts are more flatter and greyer in tone. Just like it's inhabitants...

It was the only pic I could find that was a proper sea chart that wouldn't set me back 100 quid! ;)

Looking forward to see this, or even have a game on it! You still want to include the raft I built last year?

Looks like a beautiful place, but I scrolled down the photos too quickly and the pitch angles made me seasick . . . :` I guess they captured the very essence of what a trip on a boat means to me.

Urgh, I understand. Here in Australia we got both versions of 'Wallander'; the Swedish versions are so much more melancholic (look at 'Millennium').

Of course! I just have to order some minis to accomodate it! :D
Evil Bavarians are back in the game!

Thank you, Guy :) You mean that I broke under the pressure and finally took the bullet? ;) It's a bit complicated since I've been telling everyone that an airbrush is for people doing either details on a hockey mask (and that's a very silly sport if you ask me) or people doing make-up. Since I really dislike the first, and can't feel any affection for the last, the argument has held. Until now that is...

I'm making it even worse with photoing from the face camera since the back one on the phone is broken lol
I wish I could tell you that I feel for you, but I don't. Seasickness are for those not from a family of proud fishermen. Or so I've been told, although being very unaware of any fishermen in my family...

I'm sorry you got both. And if you want melancholy you should go to Gothenburg. Here's an inspiring picture of the city.

lol followed by a barf icon....
I manage to get seasick on dry land. Admittedly on one occasion I had a good reason for getting sick during sea trials (yes, I actually worked on a ship for 4 days  ;D ), but it's a long story, which I could call 'The greening' (the emoticons on LAF give a good impression of the colour on our faces).

We're in August. And that means I got only weeks before I need to finish all the stuff. So no time for pictures since I'm all over the painting table smashing paint here, there and everywhere.
So here's a small sneek peak, taken with my phone :) Enjoy!

A little confused, though....has there been a time shift in your little archeopelogo or are you doing two games now?

Try to take few more photos for our viewing pleasure while the paint dries on minis  :D
