I am 100% with you. In fact I wanted to base the mini on a smaller bases but Prodos insisted on the "Warmachine" base. (Absoluteyl OK with me, since they gave me the minis for free)

I am going to rebase asap once I have photographed all 5 minis with the ugly bases...  ;)

Of course Agis :) I know your great collection, but it was easy to get only lookin at the comparison pic  ;)
something like "find the wrong base" :D

Anyway, I'm really glad of the 70K goal: plastic is the way, definetly.
I was more doubtful about this campaign modus operandi, but more I see the more I like and the backers are constantly growing. So it seems I was wrong and the whole operation is going quite good :)
Machinators are really cool! I was oriented on bauhaus and brotherhood, but now I'm seriously thinkin to the big C techno fellas. The immortal is super cool too!
Let's wait for the capitol, though. Hope to see great stuff with them!  :P

Yep, I'm really keeping my fingers crossed to see Capitol unlocked. I mean, flying torpedo sharks! What's not to like! :D

Really looking forward to see the Capitol as well  :)

Except for the "over the top" dynamic poses that has been shown, I really like where this project is going as far as the miniatures are concerned.

I like the size as well, as long as they dont get any smaller, although I see the problem of trying to combine them with the old models.
Is this gonna be a standup fight, sir, or another bughunt?

The size would be OK with me as well but I do suspect the small size of the Undeads may be just a technical glitch AKA shrinkage and will be amended in the actual production models. That aside, I hope the realistic proportions won't get changed even tho it doesn't usually fit with the old models either.

Loved Warzone back in the day, still have loads of badly painted minis somewere. If I had the money I would back the kickstarter for sure. Cant wait to see new versions of the old chars like Valerie Duval, Mitch Hunter, Max Steiner etc :)

Looks pretty good, but I agree on the base issue, they would look better on GW bases.

Photos of new Cybertronic Eradicator walker are now posted on the WZ facebook page. I'm not thrilled by the egg-shaped body. Like the original, too cartoony.

Make it mean!

I love him, would also be a good stand in for Falling Skies robots.

Nice paintjobs on those legionnaires, I especially like the one with the "Eddie" expression   ;)

Honestly, I think that new eradicator looks just right - they kept what was good, e.g. the stylised shark's head and the shoulder launchers, and improved what was iffy, i.e. the legs.

Doesn't make deciding on a faction any easier, though.  lol

Does anybody know if the rules will be skirmish based only or will there be something for army compisitions as well?

It's kind of mass battle skirmish.
You activate a squad, then activate each miniature in the squad, taking 2 actions with each.
Once you have activated all the models in one squad, play then moves onto your opponent who does the same. This continues until all miniatures have been activated.

I'd like to see mass battle rules come later, but we will see.

I like the skirmish idea, card driven.
But I would like to see options for mass battles (old skool :) )
