I think the old versions were skirmish too... certainly 2nd edition.

I think the old versions were skirmish too... certainly 2nd edition.

Both were skirmish first and foremost, but Second Edition was so nicely streamlined that we regularly played with 100+ figures a side and didn't run into much trouble. We were younger and more energetic then. Can't say I'm too interested in the rules as they stand and will probably dig out 2ed or try to track down a 1ed rulebook, but the minis alone will be worth it.

BTW, Rob, your video finally clicked what made me skeptical about that Everasseur sculpt - it's awfully close to the GW Chaos Hellbrute in that pose and with the semi-organic detail, and I would prefer a cleaner style, but with similar dynamics (I really disliked the stiffness of most of the Cybertronic stuff). It's still a nice figure, though.

Warzone V1 worked great in 500 or 750 points (skirmish or "big" skirmish). On bigger formats (1200, 1500) the game was slowed down quite dramatically. But I was younger and sometimes we played entire week ends a battle with no problem  lol Now it's not possible anymore...A game should be completed in a couple of hours max.

The rangers and eradicator look really cool. Will we see mounted troops too ?  What about dark eden ? Is there any long time project for this range ?

What about a french version of the rulebook also ? (I already asked twice...No answer  lol )

thanks

It's a long term project, so there is lot's that is possible. I'm pretty sure the guys want to cover everything and more.

As for a French rulebook, I couldn't say at this stage, but I know the guys have been looking into it.

the venusian rangers sneaky is quite promising!  :-*
I'm curious to see what are they going to do...I'd personally like the cloack in separate bits. We'll see.

I was wondering....Am I the only one thinking that we'll need decals? Being a Bauhaus supporter, I think some symbol (and numbers) decals would be perfect on the troopers shouldpad and on the vulcan in particular! Being not a too expensive thing to produce, a sheet of decals should be included free in each troopers box...Maybe it could be a smaller stretch goal to achieve...
On another side, even if I really appreciated the 75k stretch goal items, I think they are quite expensive. And, after all, they could be a giveaway instead of an add-on :/

I love it, the weathering, the industrial stylings.  It's like Peter Bergting's Cybertronic style come to life.  Tarnished and full of industrial squalor.  I always liked the black and white Cybertronic art and was always sad that it rarely got used as inspiration instead of Bonner's chromed up look.  There is definitely room for both in Cybertronic.  The Everasseur makes me happy.
