Day-um. That is nice brushwork. "Worthy" is right.

Yet another example of why I don't enter painting contests.

Sorry if I've missed this bit of info... the thread is a bit long at this point.
I caught that these are to be made in 'high quality plastic'... but what does that mean? Is this the lovely hard stuff that GW minis are made from? Welds together with plastic model glue?

Or is some other sort of substance.
The RL picks I've seen look more like that stuff WarmaHordes is using... which isn't my ideal.

Thanks for any info.

I *believe* it was Worthy Painting. Not certain on that...

It is actually a very talented CMON frequenter called Artur. Not Worthy Painting
There is no photoshop trickery

Here is his CMOM link if you want to see more of his amazing (but not WZR) work

Hi there, I'm not sure any resin sticks together with plastic glue. Our resin models are made with a similar resin to Krmlech or max mini (not GW fine cast). Our plastic minis will be made with styrene (like GW), which can be glued with polycement/plastic glue

Wow! Ok...
I'm not sure why but up until today (first time I've looked at this thread) I'd assumed all the figures were to be resin of some sort... which would kill my interest... but good hard styrene will certainly have me on board.

Thanks!

Fantastic paintjob...but why in green? I really think Cybertronic blue would have been so much better. That way it made it more easier to see it fitting in with the rest. Now it's so extremely different in colors from all the previous Cybertronic painjobs it makes it hard to fit in (in my head).

And I finally see why I'm not 100% fan of Cybertronic yet. None of the original weapons made it to the renders. ALL carried weaponry is totally different from the original Cybertronic weaponry. Such a shame. I assume it's too late, but it would be ace if the weaponry would match the old ones. These are a bit too boxy and 'old' in design, which doesn't fit Cybertronic at all.
I also I think that's the reason I love the new EDD so much. The weapons are spot on!

Great! Gw plastic is definetly the best (just as failcast is the worst resin cast ever seen).

How do you know there is no photoshop and it not trickery. Photoshop is just another tool like paint or a razor blade. Christ you should see what photographing food actually involves to make it look good.

Because we commissioned the model and photo!

Uhm no, not a fan. Too over the top and too much like a Techmarine and not enough like Dr. Diana. Without the Doc Oc arms she would be much better. Are they separate?

I really like the boots!

Mark actually emailed me saying he thought she looked a bit like my missus, which I found funny! :)

The backpack should be seperate, or at least the arms. It will be interesting to see how the kit comes.
