Thats what i understood - and i think they stated that each faction die (or just Capitol ?) will be a limited run - 2000 units, so get em while you can.

Okay, I have just been blown away. I am so pleased I have pledged for these.

I can imagine these in lots of settings, but they still look wonderfully Warzone, whilst being contemporary. They remind me of a blend of Fallout: New Vegas and Warzone....

Honestly, they should go back to Football and Hockey goalie helmets for Capitol troopers.

Like the old hockey and football based helmets also. But the new Orca looks cool. Very much an improvement over the old design

...and the shoulderpads, and the pouches on their shins, oh and the kneepads. All taken from old Capitol Trooper design variants.

I think that may be exactly the problem. A mix of details that alltogether does not resemble anything already known. I don't think anyone seeing just the renders of these out of context would recognize them as Capitol, or even MC. Heads and weapons are the two focal points, and the heads really look a lot like the Urban War Viridians. Shoulder pads - maybe because of the multitude of details - do not 'pop' like on earlier models, and even look somewhat out of place on these (I actually think this design would look better with smaller 'turtle-shells' on the shoulders, but that's another story).

As I wrote, I think they are nice sci-fi designs, they just don't say 'Capitol' to me. They lack the 'retro cliché americans' label that was the trademark of said megacorp. The 'retro cliché' style was, in my opinion, the one single most important feature of the MC universe, which made the setting so easy to identify.

Like the inquisitors, very true to the original, with all the 'grafic novel/comic book' slightly exaggerated style of the earlier version.

Saw those - also very 'old school'. I'm not sold on the biker-head, though. And isn't Big Bob Watts a Free Marine, anymore??

No, he still is, the Free marines designs will be based on similar aesthetics. With enough to set Big Bob Watts apart. :)

And those HMG's the Stalkers are toting around are still WIP (they will be beefing the magazine up).

Love the Etoiles Mortant (which are words I never thought I would ever say, I have disliked that unit ever since the Target days).  But some of those heads are going to my Venusian Rangers (and those new smoother V-Ranger heads as well as the extra from Angelika should be perfect for helmeted Etoiles).

I also believe anyone pledging Cartel-level or higher get the template set for free.

Either way, some exciting stuff in there.

I assume they'll be beefing the bipod up as well (or more preferably making it look like it has proper telescopic legs) then 'cuz otherwise the magazine won't fit under the gun when it's being braced.

Am a little disappointed with these. The expression is wonky and the dinosaur feet don't work for me. Shame that these classic DL baddies don't seem to be improving either with this iteration.

OTOH it's nice to see that the Etoiles Mortants don't wear belly button shirts any more 8)

I cannot say for sure, but I believe the Etoiles Mortant will come with some spare head variants too. But Durandal is right, Angelika Drachen comes with 3 heads, so you will have spares there, also Dr. Diana comes with spares. Potentially Laura, but again, I cannot confirm.

I'm hoping the Valkyries have masked and unmasked variants.
