To have a more modern and realistic design is probably the right way to make this game (finally) successful. But kickstarters, missing Imperial forces and plastic figures are killing it for me right away.  :-[

"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

Interesting...

Kickstarter was done so that more could be released. If it wasn't done, you would see 3 factions released, probably later than they would have been due to KS. KS has allowed Prodos to pump in more money than they had.

Imperial has been left off for now, because they have big plans for them. Believe me, it will be worth the wait.

Plastic (styrene) and Resin (polymer i.e. forgeworld/maxmini style) is being used because it is popular, high-quality and cost effective.

Glad you think that modernising is the right way to go. I agree. However, on your other points, from a relative 'insiders' point of view, I have to disagree. But we are all entitled to an opinion. :)

Mitch Hunter and his dog, Pride
Mitch got a face lift I see. I sorta liked the ugly mug version that was shown first, but maybe they figured he'd scare the dog if he looked like this:

Because there are some postings in fantasy and other section about Conan miniatures... :)

I hope they go through and finalise this Warzone stuff properly and not rush into Conan too early.

Prodos Games has no intention at all of going into Conan.

With apologies if this has already been covered (I couldn't find it), which figures will be plastic, and which will be resin? I understand that some of the figures were to be converted to plastic from the originally planned resin thanks to the success of the Kickstarter, but looking at the preorder store, everything is listed as resin (and i just can't get on with that stuff!).

Cheers!

Hello!

As far as I know, it is just the Troops that you get in the Starter Boxes that will be plastic.
That is the following units:

Cybertronic Chasseurs (Unarmoured)
Capitol Light Infantry
Mishima Ronin Samurai
Bauhaus Hussars
Dark Legion Undead Legionnaires
Brotherhood Troopers

Everything else is planned to be cast in resin.

Well,  that Pledge Manager thingy is a little confusing, isn't it :?

It calculated the total cost of my Pledge to be £2.76 higher than the previously released Excel sheet did, taking the total over the amount I pledged, but then it didn't redirect me to PayPal to pay the remaining difference as I understood it should from the instruction e-mail. The order doesn't seem to have registered on Prodos site either, not even in the shopping cart bit.

Now I wonder how long I should wait for a confirmation e-mail until contacting Prodos about this...

Had the smae problem (paypal button).
Has to do with a timeout occuring on the site. Second time wnet fine for me.

Well, I did use a quite a bit of time checking and rechecking when the sums didn't add up so maybe that's indeed what caused the problem. Didn't see a timeout message tho. I suppose I'll have to redo then...

You could contact Prodos. But I guess they didnt get your order.
I would give it a second try ( I did :) ) and see what happens.

If your order shows in you account's order history and/or you got an order confirmation e-mail pretty much right away then it's safe to say they don't have mine yet. Otherwise, I suppose I'd better bother them with an e-mail about this before confusing the issue any more.
