I am honestly getting a bit disappointed.
 :?
All renders and preview booklets are fine enough, but I would have preferred some models in my hands. They do not have to send all I pledged for at once, but something in June or July would have been nice!

cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

It would cost extra postage... and they have quoted the end of August on many occasions.

Yes, it woulb be great to have my Vulkans already but I'm prepared to wait... it isn't as if I don't have a lead pile to be getting on with :)

Ahem - the Kickstarter announced clearly: "Estimated delivery: Jun 2013".
In a way it was the condition under all of us pledged, or?
 ;)
Yes they sended a message about the reasons of the late delivery but I would have loved the Option to get at least some minis out earlier.
Even the " Official Basic Rules PDF " which is not slowed down by flooded Printers etc is not yet delivered, we still have only some pdfs, whith disclaimers that the final product will be better looking etc.

This is EXACTLY the reason I held off pledging: My KS experiences have been plagued by incessant delays, fuzzy estimates, evasive communication... Loads of good intentions - not enough business-sense. I'll happily plunk down my cash when The WarStore has models 'in stock'.

I agree with Agis - customers, esp. those who've already paid, deserve concise communication. They shouldn't have to hunt it down or get it third-hand.

We have been giving concise information and regular updates via Kickstarter, our Website and Facebook page.

Kickstarter Pledgers have NEVER had to hunt down information. If they have needed clarity, we have ensured that all private messages are answered.

We could have sent all of the PDF rulepacks out at once, however, they were really not up to scratch. We have had to extensively proofread and edit them. The only good thing about the print delay is that it allows us to proofread for a little longer and ensure the rules are as tight as possible.

I have to say, I feel a little bit like I am in the Lion's Pit, which is something I didn't expect on this forum. :(

If you have any issues, worries or concerns, please voice them here or PM me if the details are a bit sensitive. I work for Prodos Games full time now, a move that was made to help move things forward at a better rate, so I have constant access to the information you need.

No Lion's Pit here. I related personal experiences with other KS that contributed to my reluctance toward WZ:R. I detected echoes of them in Agis' concerns. For example: if the campaign estimate stated JULY, it's reasonable to expect product at that time or clear explanation regarding any delay. That's all.

Don't see what the fuss is, you'll get your stuff when you get it, no sooner no later, until then you just wait patiently like an adult and see what happens, I'm more than happy to wait for my pre-orders, even if they get cut back till next year, don't bother me, prodos will do what they can when they can to get your toys out, so until they do go play with something else.

What's the fuss about? Didn't anybody read Prodos statements about their strokes of bad luck?

1. Our designated book manufacturer (in the Czech Republic) has flooded, knocking their and so our schedule back for the book and the cards.

2. Unfortunately one of our freelance sculptors has defrauded us, meaning that 6 units, including the Praetorian Stalkers, Valkyries and Dr Diana have needed to be re-sculpted. All are inhand, and Golgotha is already in production.

3. Our 3D printer broke down. It is fixed now but after a 5 day down period.

Terrible bad luck, but it can happen. And yes, it leads to delays.
And IMO this is inherent to Kickstarter. You're backing starting entrepreneurs with good ideas (no, I don't consider the Cool Mini Or Not Kickstarters good examples of what Kickstarters are...these are just a simple pre-order system to collect loads of cash). Warzone is a good example of the merits of Kickstarter.

They probably couldn't have started out without the funding. But since they are small and starting, anything that happens to the production line affects the ETA.
And seriously, people really expected it to arrive on time? I hoped for a September release, so I'm a hapy backer. There are so many Kickstarter and Indigogo campaigns that didn't arrive in time. Take the Massive Voodoo Indigogo project. ETA was Christmas, the book arrived late June. But what a great product and well worth the wait.

That infantry looks really nice. :)

I didn't pledge or anything, but I'm likely to buy some once they are for general release for generic science-fictionning.

Perfectly happy with the level of information the Prodos, and Rob have been giving out. Yes, estimated dates got changed, but as mentioned in other posts, this is not uncommon in KS projects (don't think I've been in one that actually hit the nail on the head time wise yet).

I'm actually in this more for the miniatures than the rules (though will give them a try - usually play UWZ (3rd) as that's what everyone else plays), and am happy with the information given. Yes, as Agis said, I would like to see more 'in the flesh' models, but the fact that we're getting regular updates on everything and Prodos have been very straight up about ANY issues they have had actually gives me more hope.

Prodos, and all, bring it on ! - loving what you've don, and really looking forward to having to find storage for all the stuff I pledged for (and that was a lot)

Hmmm, I absolutely expected to get at least some minis in June.  ::)
To get nothing was indeed a bit of a disapointment. :-[

I agree that the Information Level is forthcoming and some things are out of Prodos Hands but the lack of any minis are a bit on the disappointing side.
But maybe I am to eagerly awaiting the new Wz minis!  8) 8)

haha, I know!

You got some early though mate, and yours are rare as hen's teeth as they actually got reprinted. Yours are roughly 7% smaller than the new versions.  :D

Cheers for the support folks, I will try to post more frequently on LAF to keep you up to date.
