Many F&IW figures would work. Use the ones with bows & war clubs. No guns, steel tomahawks, or rifle stock war clubs.

don't think too much about naked indian etc.....

We are speaking about far northwest indians (labrador territory et close to these) more looking like inuit / eskimo and tribes from the big north natives.....

In that case, how about some of the Foundry Blackfoot indians? They are pretty wrapped up... Copplestone & Sgt Mjrs Minis also do Eskimoes/Innuits which might also be applicable?

there is so little known about pre-contact First Nations that You could use almost anything that doesn't look like what is known from historical times, because this would mean cultural stagnation over hundreds of years.
For that matter You could use Maori miniatures or whatever, because we don't know

so if the available skraeling miniatures do suit Your taste, they are as good as anything, because anything is educated speculation at best  ;)

If you want the Gripping Beast Skraelings- and they are very nice- buy them now because they won't be available for long anymore.

The box set won't be available anymore, which means no more Battle Boards. The figures will still be available in blisters though.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Actually, there was a bit of a warm up period going on at the time, so during summer months figures with less clothing might actually be very suitable.  And the area is normally fairly temperate from what I have heard.
