ALL LPL7 PARTICIPANTS:

Can I just gently remind eveyone of the rules regarding photograph composition:

The entry should not be an out-and-out collage of individual pictures, but primarily a ‘group shot’ of the team, in either scenic setting or against a plain backdrop, as you prefer. You may add close-ups or cutaways of small aspects, like faces, equipment, etc. and/or show different angles of the same figures (front and rear view for instance). But the main focus of the image must be on ‘the team’. The bases of each miniature should be in full view in the main photo and not obscured by terrain, scatter, etc.

You may add some close-ups of figure details you consider important or useful. For example, you may create a picture that has a central main image showing the team, and add a row of detail shots on top or bottom, or on one or both of the sides. Remember that the 800x800 pixel maximum size still applies, and you must keep the collage as simple as possible.

In short, the main part of the photograph should be a single image comprising the entire entry.  If you choose to add detail images they should form a minor part of the finished collage.

If you are unsure please ask me, or submit your entry early to allow time for correction and resubmission before the deadline if required.

Just finished the models for round six, picture time tomorrow

Once again I found little time to comment elaborately but I enjoyed this round very much! I'm looking forward to seeing what all you people come up with for round six

Rounds 6 and 7 are photographed and sent in. What a challenge to squeeze two entries in a week. I'll be away on a camping trip for eight days, so I might miss the next voting window entirely. Good luck all!

Overlord, so we can still use one big picture of the miniatures in their setting with one or two smaller pictures added/inserted for certain details? That's how I read this line at least:

Paul is a bit busy this weekend, so I'm running this round. Yes, you read it right, one main picture and some smaller close-ups without fancy frames and anything like this. Though we are still going to accept pics containing the front and the back view of the team as two main (50-50) parts as the only exception of this.

A definite no-go is making the main picture to a smaller (less than 50-60%) part of the pic and filling the rest with close-ups.

This it the second toughest round, to me anyway! Amazing entries, all of them! 

When I get my eyeballs its sockets again, I'll try to vote!
