On closer inspection of the box, that is exactly what they have done! They put the crossbox on the cargo trousers guy instead of it's "correctly labelled" guy.

Maybe they realised it was a mistake when they made it and that's why they did it like that for the photos.

Nice one rwwin *thumbs up*

I built and painted the male set for Wargames Factory. I do recall one configuration not being labelled right, it must have been the crossbow guy. It's been a while and I've built so many plastic kits since then its all a blur...

I know I didn't use much putty at all for them, I built them as 'stock' as possible but I probably did use 'incorrect' arms for bodies.

I'll take a look again and try to see what I did  ???

Perfect! Now this might sound like a stupid question, but with the amount of spare guns and stuff on the one spure... how do you use them if there are no arms/hands to attach them to? I get you can chop up the others and stuff, but I was wondering if I'm missing something obvious  :?

I do love this set (otherwise I wouldn't be stocking it), but it's useful to know things If I ever get asked about them :P

The extra stuff is just that, extra stuff mostly for people that want to do their own conversions. For example, one could snip off the AR15 or whatever it is on the sleeved arm, and replace it with an AK you have trimmed, since there's no sleeved arm with an AK (as I recall).

Other possibilities include using the extras as 'objective' markers, etc.

I'm planning on using all the extra weapons to outfit a 28mm gun shop :)

The Dreamforge accessories kit is actually a better kit for modifications- there are separate pistol grips, separate hands, etc. making it very easy to attach a weapon to an arm, or attach a grip to a gun if you want it 'loose'. It's a little harder on the Apoc Survivors, but they're plastic so 'hard' is relative.

To be honest I've been too busy to really exploit the possibilities of the survivors by making figures with challenging combinations.

I recently just fixed up a lot of the Dreamforge guys, and I agree the accessories pack is JAM packed full of stuff. So much I still have quite a lot left over!

Saying Dreamforge, I saw the one's you painted up a couple of weeks ago. They were VERY impressive. I shared them on the Grekwood Miniatures Facebook page :) I can only hope the one's I have to paint up turn out half as good!

Ordered 2 boxes to day can't wait for them to arrive. I am going to use them in my D20 Modern Apocalypse Campaign.

really you only need a single box of these figs.

That.

I even gave some sprues to a friend and still have enough.

I really love the Studio Miniatures Undead German Officer. The pose is excellent.

A dash of salt. A pinch of make believe. A dose of wishful thinking. A smidgen of truth. There you now have the recipe for a rumor.

really you only need a single box of these figs.

Unless:

1) You like building figures.

Or

2) You play a game where RPG Lite elements exists or WYSIWYG (or would that be What You Figure Has Is What You USE, WYFHYCU)

And

3) You want your character/figure to have mission specific appearances.

Gracias,

Glenn
