I love her facial expression & the way your WONDERFUL brushwork brought out a not quit there personality. She reminds me of Gracie Allen:

There's a physical resemblance; & your background story completed the match...to moi at least.

You're spot on with that. Loved Gracie, she was one funny lady. Now, you'll see a pic of Leilon here below and tell me if she looks a lot like Gracie.

Oh yes, I do have sisters. There are four O'Leary girls.

Leilon, complete with sunglasses.

Here's Niamh.

I don't have a pic of Theresa on my computer, but I'll ring her up and see if she will email me one. You can see my pic as it's my avi.

Here's the lake. I can't produce a pic of the lawnmower I'm afraid.

And here's a picture of me with my drums. I had Ludwig custom build that for me.  The bass is 26", the tom-tom is 14 inches and I have a 16" and 18" floor tom.

I've got a very loud drum solo that I call A Wargamers Serenade, if you'd like to hear it, I can put up a link.

I'm a drummer who paints I think as I've been playing much longer than painting. I've named the kit. I call him 'The Beast" after John Bonham

Yes please!
serenade the wargamers  ;)

Listen to it with headphones and crank the volume. It should sound like an army marching through a valley. It's based off an Irish tattoo.

Awesome stick work Anne! May have to play that in the background next time we get a big battle going.

This is the last in the Cowgirl Series and represents me.

O'Leary Cowgirl Anne

The figure is from Reaper and was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.

If you would like to read the story that goes with her, you may do so at my blog.

Your comments are welcome, but please do so with the respect I have earned through hard work as a painter over this past year.

Constructive criticism as welcome as well as that is how one improves as a painter.

The mini is COOL & the beneficiary of some FINE brushwork & basing. Your color choices are OUTSTANDING. VERY WELL DONE!

I really enjoy the background stories. You remind me of a Girl I knew a very long time ago, & yet you manage to retain your own individuality...nice work O'Leary!

Always loved that figure. Your paintwork really does it justice.
