Nice conversions

Thanx, Captain. Always nice to herar a compliment from the grandmster of peery-conversion....;)
But I rather call it mixing. Today there are so many sets out there, its just a plastic heaven...

...are you also mass producing figures for an ACW army?

Erm, yes. There are a few other distractions... lol
I am building two small opposing forces. Just perry-Plastics again.

Sorry, I know it not really fits in here...;)

Cheers,
Don

I've never been convinced by the 'a slab of doormat looks like a field of crops' notion.

You are absolutely right. Especially when troops are hoovering over the crops like in the picture... ;D

But I have to transport 4 armys and all the terrain by public transportation. So it all have to fit in a rucksack and a bag. I have to make compromises there... ;)

I just look in envy at your cool gaming tables, like the ECW oder the medieval WotR one... :)

Cheers,
Don

Just really great stuff. Thanks for the how-to pics and description also. Very inspiring. I'm hoping to start my Landsknechts project soon.

I painted a citywall (a rather short one) for the italian wars.
Its a 1/72 fortress, but fits in my view for "battallion-games".

A bit WIP and needs some more highlighting...

Cheers,
Don

Is there a link for the KugelHagel rules?
I don't mind a German language version - I can get the school club to translate them.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

That's a very nice looking wall. Who is the manufacturer?
Also any chance of posting more pictures of those ACW figures in "Age of Big Battalions" as they look as interesting as your Italians?
Any more periods you working on at the present?

Okay, just a quick update gefore tonights club game of Itaian Wars.

Just finished a few more miins and some basing...

Added a few crossbowmen with pavaises to my siena troops.

back...

And here the troops from around last week.

And I added some heavy infantry...

Its a shame, that there are so few plastic poses. Should have get some metal, but that would be against my "all plastic" approach...;)

So, Siena is finished.
Time for some new army... :D

@Moonshadow
Yes, there are more periods.
Ill try and get some pics over here ...this time in the right board.

@fastolfrus
I will look it up. Not sure if there is any link.
BTW, the rules are for napoleonics and we use houserules to get the right feeling.
Like Pike and Shotte: napo rules with some addons... ;)

But it works pretty well, esp. for multiplayer culb night games... :)
Its more a beer and brezel approach.

Cheers,
Don

I will repeat myself, yet again - very very nice. Your output is prolific and nice on the eye. Those pavises are really nice.

We are starting a campaignsoon. As a special event you get if you are a defender of a wood province a small band of bandit archers.

I put some plastic pieces togehter in the good tradiotion of captain blood...;)

A wild mix of zouaves, warhammerheads and perry plastic.

Hope to get them paunted soon...

Cheers,
Don
