Nice to see you back in The Italian Wars, was missing your posts of some very nice figures. Like these. Is it possible for you to give us some close ups of the other stand of pikes and the gunners/crossbowmen? If you are now switching to plastics I guess you will be over the moon when ProGloria bring out their plastic landesknechts.

Thanx, here are some pics...

Another Pikeblock.

Billmen for upgrades.

Pikemen with pavaise.

Pikeblock with arquebuse upgrade.

And some skirmishers...

And yes I will get crazy, if the PG-Landsknechts hit the shelfes... :o
Really looking forward on these.

Cheers,
Don

Painted today a new pikeblock.

I had painted a few sienna troops last year and always liked their limited colour sheme. Black and white...

And while I was on my way, I thought perhaps its a good idea to take a fefw pics.

Step 1: find an old box in the lead erm platic pile... 8o

Did the flags right in the bin and on it goes with glue and a knife.

Missed the next step, so right away with undercoat and silver.

After that I paited some browns and the skin...

The next step took me around two hours painting the black and white of the livree.

On with armypainter Quishade....

More Quickshade pics.

After tha came the sand and the highlights.

Ready for the gaming table.
Could perhaps add more highlights if I find teh time....

Took me around 7 hours...:)

Cheers,
Don

Very nice. some nice painting of the patterns- particularly like the flames on the legs. Amazing that all of those just took 7 hours- I would be happy if i could get one figure done in that time.

Fab stuff  :-* :-* :-*.

I've got a few mounted Crossbowmen I converted from the Perry plastic Men at Arms box and you have just provided the inspiration for me to get them painted up!  8)

Darrell.
