Agreed! 9 threads now!

I have checked with Alex and we are in agreement that the Army Painters initiative is not a fixture of LAF yet and while there are still below 20-25 threads it is not all that difficult to follow those threads which are updated regularly.

On a personal note I like what I am seeing, and I am as always drawn to participating. With my recent streak of unfortunate events with 'puter and camera, I better not.

Well I took pictures, prepped & painted some French sailors this month. Have my Senegalese Trigailiers ready for August. Just have to figure out how to post pictures. Tried a test posting on my work bench & failed.

Herby,

Check this linky it might help you.

This could be just what I need to get back to painting again. There's no shortage of minis to choose from as only about 10% of mine are painted (buy now, paint later, much later). ACW Confederates? Napoleonic Russians? WWII anything? Old West gangs (if they count as units?)?

Well since I seemed to instigate this little challenge, I finally joined for real. Posted a pic of my French sailors at the beginning of July. They are done now & I will post the finished picture soon. Also have Senegalese trigalliers for my August project. pictures of them soon too.

What with preparations for the HH Betrayal weekend, I've been somewhat distracted by rolling out Death Guard. However, they have to be done by the 22nd Aug.

So what to do for this one  ::)

Looking around at various piles of lead, I think the 1914 German army in 28mm deserves some attention...

Hmmm... I seem to have butterfly'ed already, and have ended up multi-tasking and painting a pile of 20mm Cold War soviet motor rifles at the same time as the Arthurians... Still most of the month to go, so with any luck I might be able to manage both (Darn my enthusiasm with picking so many arthurians to start with!)
