Van Helsings Batman Miniatures Game Efforts
« on: 28 June 2013, 02:03:06 PM »
As I had ruined my previous Arkham City Batman with a shading glaze, I carried on painting my two alternative Batmen in their variant colour schemes (while I clean the other one up properly, a daunting task on such soft metal - my Recommendation, don't soak in paint stripper and scrub).

This is my "Urban Batman" done in greys and blacks, no Golden Yellow Belt, no blues - all shades of grey and (obviously) black - even the Bat is a very pale grey (though it looks white).

Needs another coat of Matt Varnish though - it looks much shinier in the picture.

Looking good - love the edging. And he can remain shiney - he's in the rain. ;)

Thanks Guys, there are few obvious flaws I want to correct - but overall he'll do.

Thankies!

I WAS planning on starting Nightwing last night (in "New 52" Red) but the Riddler 'took over' LoL!

Lovely PJ.  Stands out from the normal fair.

Aren't all Batman variants "Urban Batmen"? ;)  Bad joke.

You would think so wouldn't you - but in the Silver Age, no (and yes they were).

Carrying on my Elseworlds theming of my Miniatures, I've done my Nightwing in "New 52" Inspired Colours.

I removed him carefully from the odd little rock that he as standing on, and used a piece of Fenris Resin Masonry.

A better shot of my Batman (I seem to be getting white flecking from the Varnish, but Only on the bases).

Finally a (fuzzy LoL) shot of them together.

Nicely painted but not keen on the sculpting of the Domino mask,  too heavy and thick.  I must get round to sorting my heroclix bats stuff out soon.

What's next?
