Funny thing, I was over in Docklands (East India) yesterday and there's blocks of flats there that instantly reminded me of these buildings. I don't think Akira ever went to Budgens for line pickle though. :?

What strikes me is a thought that you should have something like Tokyos Piss Alley (or Memory Lane as the officials wish to call it) either between the modern houses, or on the opposite side to add some contrast :)

Piss Alley would be great, but as James said some compromises would have to be made for gaming. Nobody would get their hand in for a start!
