The design is a bit odd, unless I am missing something it seems to be a very heavily armoured vehicle that is not really meant for combat, but the paintjob looks great.

It is when you look at it but it'll certainly do for what I have in mind 

I take it it's all airbrush work as it's so smooth? I must check out Lidl.

It's not actually, it's a Humbrol spray can (Sand) and then GW washes and a very subtle drybrush over the top. It still needs a bit more weathering though 

I recognise that model.

Why's that then

I have a time machine  (actually, I have a wife that works shifts which gives me a fair amount of time in the evenings)

I've made a decision on the two main factions for the game. It'll be 'gangs' and military style police. The gangs borrowing heavily from Akira of course using mainly Copplestone and EM4 figures, the same for the coppers as well. Below are two support units. The first being a re-appropriated construction 'suit' for the gangs and the second is a standard security bot.

The construction suit is from GZG with the addition of a heavy autocannon, I think an ammo hopper might be appropriate 


And the security bot is from Antenocities (no mods on this) although a lot of items have been removed from their site  Just glad I got two 


The base is a home made one using scraps of pavement and 120grit sandpaper on an acrylic disc.

Plenty of new ideas getting jotted down but I have to go back and make some more buildings first before getting carried away

Very nice work.

If remember correctly (a bit of time back since did the masters) the gattling gun from GZG Charger Mecha should fit the Civie Mecha Arm.

Got the weathering done on the cargo hauler. It's quite subtle but I think it works none the less. I didn't have any vents for a hover version so I'll be sticking with the wheels.





Cargo load has been started... Lots of blue foam

I did think about that and the option is still open but for the time being I'll leave it as a more generic vehicle.

I have rehashed the bike I was working on as I wasn't happy with the 'feel' of it.

This is the new version and the original is below. Obviously there are still a fair few things to complete on it but the general shape is there which is probably the most difficult bit.





I'll hopefully getting this complete in the next couple of weeks and then it's off for rp'ing  The wheels will be separate and there will probably be only one fork.

I'll also be looking at various mopeds, other bikes and general civvie vehicles with as much variety as I can but keeping the same 'feel' to everything.

I watched Akira a few nights ago- hadn't seen it in about 20 years. Even better than I remembered.

Great project, I really like the cargo vehicle.
