Alternative Spirit Host
« on: August 02, 2013, 01:06:19 PM »
I've just finished up painting some of my spirit host miniatures. The games workshop ones are ugly as sin, so I opted for some ghouls from titan forge, rather happy with the end result! I've got the grimmy brothers orcs to finish up to complement these guys.

OOH!, but those are COOL! They fit with my conception of Tormented Spirits perfectly...this is not necessarily a plus. The paint jobs are LOVELY & suitably eerie. GREAT WORK!

Thanks guys, I've just finished the centrepiece to my spirit hosts, again, this is using a titan forge model:

For those interested, the models are by titan forge http://titan-forge.com/ and in the UK the best supplier I have found is The Outpost http://the-outpost.co.uk/

Very nice! The orcs especially are great - I like the painting on 'em.

I think you'll find its a supplier that I found, give me some credit or i'll start referring to your Goblin ghosts as melted smurfs ;)

Lurkers don't get credit. My smurfs will smush your lizardmen (or the days army of choice!)

Continuining on my alternative vampire counts figures, here's a picture of my fell bats, once again using a titan forge miniature. This one isn't quite finished, but I was keen to post a picture of it, there's another two to come, but I won't get chance to finish them for a few weeks.

Great Minis to represent ghosts. I like the way you painted the Blue glow.

Much better than the GW Spirit Host figs
I used old ghost/wraith types mixed in with plastic spirits from board games
