BTW, my wife said to me that they don't have flowers like that in the jungle, to which I responded... "they do in my jungle!"

 lol

Wives, eh?  lol

Wives, eh?  lol

 :)

Quick story...

On a trip to see the pyramids with my wife and son, we decide to take the "camel expedition."  I jumped on the camel and when he rose up, though it was a bit awkward, I was able to maintain a good seat.  The camel guide seeing this said to me... "You know how to ride horses, don't you?"

I replied, "Of course."

Then he approached me closely and said in a low voice... "How many wife's do you have?"

"Three."  I responded non-nonchalantly and then spurred the camel over to speak with my wife.

 lol

Just to let any interested folks know...

I'll be taking a break posting here during the summer.  I've got at least three different projects ongoing now and will be doing all kinds of different things and will be posting more photos in the fall... probably coinciding with the next Lead Painters League competition...

 :D

Well... seems it might be awhile before another league... so... I have now finished the British Expedition and present them for your amusement:

In the main picture, from left to right, you see my British colonial infantry escorting the Chinese porters, led by five new adventurers (the large pics in this photo), Vivian,  Second Lieutenant Bakersmyth, Pugsley the Bulldog and Sir Edward Blowhard.  These are a mix of Copplestone, Foundry and Pulp Figure minis.

Still have plenty of work to do though.  I have my American expedition which will include Pulp Figure U.S. Navy sailors, a gaggle of adventurers and a film crew, not to mention finishing off the White Wolf tribe and their Dino riding cavalry.

Lovely stuff Ray. That Foundry DA Stanley figure is one of my all time faves. Just such a great posture...

Although it beats me what on earth an expedition of upstanding Victorian gentlemen could possibly want with a bunch of pink fur clad cavegirls - even if they managed to catch any...  ;)

Nice to see some life back into this old forum.

Indeed a superb figure.  My favorite of the bunch.

The Brits are searching for the treasure... it's the Americans who are after the gals.    ;D

everything is beatiful!
[pink cavegirls, a stunning idea]

I am curious and I have a question:
Will you place your game in Asia like environment? It puzzles me to see chinese bearers, instead of the usual africans.

BTW, my wife said to me that they don't have flowers like that in the jungle, to which I responded... "they do in my jungle!"

 lol

this is the good for our hobby, almost everything is permitted!

The adventure occurs on a mysterious fog enshrouded Pacific Island...

Hence Brits meet Yanks meet Pink clad women meet Dinosaurs meet various other strange and wonderfully weird and unusual things...

I intend to have a number of random events which may or may not occur during gameplay so I am pursuing a number of "different" kinda "things"...  o_o

All to be revealed as my painting speed allows...

So... just finished some more jungle terrain (aka aquarium plants).  o_o

There are rather large plants, and I found them difficult to photograph, but I think you will get the idea.

Single very large plant:

All three large and two small plants completed:

Anyway... the adventure continues...
